Kyla's Birthday Part 2

Once the sun set at the river, we had to get out and head home because the park closes at dusk. Well we didn't exactly head home we headed to Matt and Amy's (thank you, thank you, thank you so much for letting us barge in). The plan was to eat by the river where they had some picnic benches. Unfortunately, I left our freshly bought fried chicken on the table while we were swimming. By the time we got hungry Amy and Candy found that it was covered in tiny red ants and really I mean covered. So we stopped and got more chicken on our way to their house. The kids had a great time with our random smorgesbord.

Esther made this great cake for Kyla. I had been trying to figure out what I was going to do for a long time and had actually bought a Tinkerbell doll on ebay, but it didn't come in time. I asked Cynthia and Esther while they were at Walmart if they would look around for something Tinkerbell that we could put on a cake. Esther was so sweet and said to not worry about the cake they would take care of it. What a relief! I had no idea how I was going to make it. It turned out so beautiful.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Esther. Kyla thought it was the best cake ever.

Opening presents is always a hit. She got a lot of fun stuff: a boy barbie with more clothes, cute tinkerbell clothes, princess polly pockets, a Care Bear, and of course money! Thanks everyone for making her day so special. I couldn't have done it without you!
