Sand Springs in Moccasin

That night after the BBQ we headed to Moccasin for the day. Daniel kept busy fixing stuff around the place and the girls enjoyed watching the variety of channels at Grandma's house. In the afternoon we decided to go for a walk up to Sand Spring to show the girls some of the places their dad used to play. Nora had gone with my mom and sister to St. George so she missed out on this part.

We found and caught a toad that Myka thought was the greatest thing. I think she is even less squeamish about critters than her sisters.

Kyla needed a turn with the toad before we let it go.

Esther, Miranda, and Cynthia came up with us. The spring has been covered to protect it, so it was kind of hard for the girls to get the idea of water bubbling out of the ground.

Things have changed up there so much since Daniel was little that most of the places they used to play didn't even exist anymore. After our little walk we headed to Kanab and went to dinner with Cynthia, Esther, and my dad. And then we waited for Kirsten and my mom to bring Nora back to us.
