Today was fast Sunday and Grandpa Olsen was here, so we decided to bless Eli in Church even though he is only 17 days old. It was our first baby blessing far from home, so we did not have the usual large crowd of family members. However, we were blessed to have Grandma and Grandpa Olsen there along with many supportive friends and ward members to share this special occasion with. It all went well, and he has been a really good model for all of the pictures we took of him. Here are some of our favorites.

Shower Fun!
A few of the girls in the ward threw me a super fun baby shower. I did remember to take my camera; I just forgot take pictures or ask someone to take pictures. Here are the few that I did take. I was honestly a little nervous since this is the first big event in my life since we moved away from family. I am so used to be surrounded by so much family and support I didn't know how things would turn out being so far away from everyone. Well, I was so happily surprised by all the love and support. We had so much fun chatting, playing games, and eating sweets. Here are the two pictures I did manage to take. Sara was taking a turn playing the baby safety pins in rice game.
I felt bad I didn't have any pictures of me opening gifts so I took one before I took the tags off and washed everything. I was pretty well spoiled and got so much fun stuff.
About a week afterwards, I had a dream I had a girl and was so upset since I couldn't use the cute boy clothes or take them back because I had already cut the tags and washed them. Let's just hope that doesn't happen!
