To Tooele We Go

Monday morning I packed up and said goodbye to Kanab and my parents. I drove up to Provo, and stopped to hang out with Marci and see our old stomping grounds. It was fun to go visit the duck pond and as usual the girls were much more interested in exploring the woods instead of playing on the playground. They ended up taking us on an adventure taking the back way home through the blackberry bramble and past the beaver pond. It was fun to see how much the girls remembered living there. Then I drove out to Aaron and Amy's to have dinner with them. It was a lot of fun to see their family, especially the lastest addition. We had a yummy dinner and played at the park with them. By that time major exhaustion from being on the road all day was starting to set in. I was really tempted to stay there but it was only another hour to Tooele. Amy was so sweet helping me get the kids packed up. I decided the only chance I had at staying awake was talking on the phone the whole time. Therefore, I took the freeway instead of the back route. The cell reception is really bad around those mountains and I figured the lonely, long highway would be impossible for me to handle. It worked out great. I talked to Kirsten the whole time, the kids slept part of the time, and the speedy freeways kept me awake. The girls and I had a great time chilling at Kirse's. I watched more movies in those three days than I had seen in the past year. It was just what I needed, well all except the super late nights. We had a fun LONG trip to DI, spent a fun day at Libery Park, and one swimming at the pool. (more to come on those) Pictures I wish I had taken: The girls with Kaylee and Parker; Adventuring through the blackberry bramble; the girls with Gage, Levi, and Claire.
