Happy Birthday Daddy!

Thursday was also Daniel's birthday. We celebrated by going out to Benihana's. Cynthia decided that was what she would give Daniel for his birthday. It was soooo good. I am craving it as I write this two months later. The girls thought it was great too. They loved watching him cook and tasting all the different stuff. We didn't get them a meal but just planned to share ours with them. At the table with us was a super nice lady and her pre-teen son. We lucked out on that one. They were so nice, she was really cute with the girls. She offered all of her son's food to girls to eat, since he wouldn't touch any of it. They gladly accepted and even liked the soup and salad but especially the chicken and fried rice. This picture was an effort to capture Myka's reaction when they started grilling and sizzling, if you can't tell it didn't really work.

 

 

They of course sang to Daniel and gave him a free dessert. Thanks Grandma we had a great time and it was so yummy!

About a week later we finally got around to buying him a cake and singing Happy Birthday. The girls kept insisting we hadn't had a party for Daddy. It was turtle cheesecake, yummy but so rich.
