It wouldn't be fall in Michigan without a trip to a cider mill. It was one of the last beautiful fall days we had with Grandma Cynthia here, but Lise had to go to the Cannery with the Relief Society sisters, so we decided to go without her. We wanted to try a new Cider Mill this time, so we went to the Plymoth Orchards Cider Mill. It was not as large as some other mills, but it was very nice and they had lots of yummy home made fall treats. Here are some of the fun little fall props they had for the kids.
Grandma Cynthia loved the farm setting and thought this view looked like a painting with white fences, beautiful fields and orchards surrounding it.
Of course the girls favorite part was the animals. Their favorites were the three pigs and the pen with goats, sheep, and calves all together. Of couse, the pigs and goats were very friendly and the girls loved interacting with them.
I could be mistaken, but I think Myka liked seeing the pigs.
Of course, the goats were happy to eat anything the girls gave them.
It was fun to see all the different kinds of goats that they had together in the same pen. The girls loved the funny sounds some of them would make when the bleated.
