Myka's Birthday

When it was time for pie, it was also time for Myka's birthday. We decided to celebrate it two days early since on her birthday we were driving for 14 hours. She had been asking for a "pumpkin cake" for a very long time, so we decided pumpkin pie would do. I think she actually meant a cake that looked like a jack-o-lantern, but when your on vacation you do what you can do. She was very excited to open presents. It was so much fun to be able to spend her birthday with so much family. So after a day of crafts, movies, Thanksgiving dinner, sledding, swimming, and birthday party they decided they still had energy for one last craft. Turkeys made from apples, toothpicks, marshmallows, raisins, etc. provided by Uncle Erik. They loved being creative and decorating them. We all had such a fun day! Thanks everyone, it was great.
