One More Surprise

When we got into the car to drive home, Myka was surprised to have a kitten in a box next to her. Grandpa had driven down to Kirsten's house to pick her up for us that morning. Of course, all the girls were very excited about the new addition. Myka thought it was a great birthday present, although she is a little young to really know how to act around her.

 

The kitten did great in the car and provided much needed distraction during the long two day trip.

 

For some reason the kitty decided she liked Kyla, and would always climb up and snuggle with her.

 

Myka like her sleeping on her lap but only for 15 minutes or so and then she would get tired of it and need me to take her.

 

I didn't mind having the company either. I think we got her at just the right age for the trip, where she was independent but still slept a lot and didn't freak out about being in a moving vehicle.
