Changes and Accomplishments

These past few weeks we have had some changes in our lives. The biggest being the Relief Society presidency was reorganized and I was released. I think it was a good thing, I was getting pretty overwhelmed with everything going on. But I do feel bad, because I feel like I was just starting to get it figured out. They didn't lose much time and called me as the Primary Secretary the same week. So I don't think that I will be too awfully bored.

We finally got around to sorting our Halloweem candy. The girls got really into it. It was a lot less work since we have been eating it for the past few weeks. I put it all in fun glass jars, cute but have become Myka's favorite toys and she is strangely always hungry when she walks by them.

Mommy and Kyla sacking out after an exhausting Sunday. I spoke in Sacrament meeting on FHE and everyone said it was good, although I stayed up late and woke up early writing it last minute. Kyla gave the scripture in primary. I am sorry but I have to brag a bit. The scripture assigned to her was 2 Nephi 26:33 it reads: "For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembreth the heathen; and all are alike unto God both Jew and Gentile." I typed it up large print on a piece of paper she practiced it all week and on Sunday read the WHOLE thing with absolutely no help. Pretty good for a 5 1/2 year old!

I took Myka and Kyla to The Museum (by the way, if you don't know by know that means The Henry Ford Museum) for Macy's 2nd Mondays. They have a lot of fun activities for the little ones and they encouraged everyone to wear their costumes even though it was after Halloween to celebrate the opening of the Amazing Costumes exhibit. It was fun to get them dressed up one more time. I am not sure if we will continue to go for the Macy's 2nd Monday's. There are so many more people than normal and the activities are fun but a lot of them they have on regular days anyway. The girls love chasing the lights, too bad I started recording when Myka biffed it.
