My roommate, Lisa, from Snow College came and visited with us for a day. We had a great time hanging out and catching up. Lisa got fancy cupcakes from a cupcake shop and the girls enjoyed helping her taste test them. We decided the cake part was excellent (that is saying a lot for me who generally doesn't think cake is worth eating). But the frosting was very lacking at least in taste not even the kids would eat it, they looked pretty though. The next morning we did a very quick run over the village. It was such a perfect day there with no crowds and the weather was beautiful. When we first pulled up there were a ton of buses so I was worried about annoying school groups. Luckily, there were some tour groups and the school groups weren't too bad. We hope that sometime we will be able to get out to Virginia to visit Lisa sometime soon.
