The day after Grandpa and Mormor came we got going early (well for us and them) and headed to World Headquarters for an unexpected Model T gathering. Daniel got an email a few days earlier inviting him to a party of Model T's in front of World Headquarters. Well he was busy at work but we had fun checking them out with my Dad.
When we first got there, all the car owners were crowded together posing for a picture. Later we found out that William Clay "Bill" Ford Jr., Chairman of the Board (i.e. head honcho of Ford along with the CEO), was there for the picture. Too bad I am clueless or we may have been able to meet him.
They had a live band and we got a Model T ride, but it was just the "T's" from the village that we ride in all the time anyway so it was not that exciting.
It was pretty amazing all the different ways a "T" can look.
Right before we left we went inside World Headquarters to check out the gift shop. I was looking for a tie but didn't find one that I was in love with, and nothing else too exciting. But it was fun to walk around World Headquarters a bit where usually you need security clearance to get into. Myka and Grandpa like to hang out together, they go about the same speed these days.
