I would like to share my experience with everyone of a great product. Daniel and I decided that we needed to weed the garden last night (since we couldn't find any of the plants). After a few minutes of trying to swat mosquitos and getting annoyed, I went and got the bug spray and slathered us down. When we got inside I found several HUGE (the size of a dime) mosquito bites on my upper arms and ankles. I quickly got the Mela Gel and rubbed it on all the ones I could find. It doesn't feel like anything when you rub it on, but it sure gives results. This morning I couldn't even find most of the bites. Some were just small bumps that did not itch at all. We have found that if you put this on right as soon as you get the mosquito bite somehow it takes the itch and sting out of it. Now as I am typing I can feel the bites starting to itch a little and thinking I need to go dab on the Mela Gel. Now if I could only find something that worked as well for repelling the buggers, we would have a great summer. By the way, if any of you would like to visit Michigan I am of the opinion that May is the ultimate month here. It is warm enough to be outside, everything is green and beautiful, but the mosquitos aren't out yet!

Hi Lise, I'll have to try that product. I was glad to find your site through Hayley's. We're private, but I can send you an invite if you would like. Just shoot me an email at tl2young@yahoo.com. Your girls are absolutely beautiful. You can tell who has more Heaton genes and who has more Olsen genes. So cute!
Tee Tree oil is good stuff, but Matt calls it "Husband repellant!"
Hope the mosquitos aren't bad in July! I am looking forward to telling the girls about the millipeeds (sp?) we saw on our hike in Yosemite. I know how they love creepy crawly critters!
Thanks for the tip! I'm going to go buy that this week. We dont have a problem with it here in Seattle area. But we are going to visit my family in Idaho for the month of July. Where they live we always come home with too many bites. Take Care!
