Work Perks

One of the fun perks of Daniel's job is every so often he gets to drive some fun cars. This has to be the snazziest one he has ever brought home. It is a 2010 Mustang Shelby Cobra GT500 Convertible. The girls thought it was pretty cool getting picked up from school in this and it was the icing on the cake to a beautiful day to drive home in a convertible (too bad their school is not farther away). The downside - he only got to keep it for 20 minutes or so. Glad we live so close to his work so he can share fun stuff like this with us.

 

Also, if you are in the vecinity of a Ford or Lincoln/Mercury dealership you can help to raise money for breast cancer research just by taking a test drive.
It's called the Ford Advantage Test Drive and further supports Ford's 15-year relationship with Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Now through June 1, Ford will donate $20 for every test drive taken at a participating Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealership to Komen – up to $1 million.
To participate, log on to www.fordcares.com. Obtain a registration form and registration number. Then just visit a dealership and take a test drive. You'll need to go back to www.fordcares.com again with information from the dealer to validate your drive so the donation is made in your name.
