Graduation

The last day of school Kyla's class had a little program. She has really enjoyed preschool and always looked forward to going each day. She has lots of friends from her class and really loved her teachers.
Here is Kyla with her two preschool teachers, Mrs. Maibaum (left) and Mrs. Kubitz (right). They are both really good with the preschool age kids and have no problem keeping them in line and staying on task while having a great time in the process.
Kyla's best friend in preschool was Ava. They were inseparable and always making special things to give each other. Luckily, Ava's Mom decided to move Ava and her brother, Austin, (who is in Nora's class) to the same new school our girls will be in next year, so now she and Kyla can be in Kindergarten together and they won't have to start over with all new friends.
The girls enjoying the wild "after preschool graduation party" held at the Kindergarten playground in the sweltering heat. There was lots of good food and treats, complete with stuffed grape leaves, hummus, pitas, and assorted middle eastern desserts. A lot of the kids that were in Kyla's class are of middle eastern decent.
