Daniel and I have been listening to the Harry Potter books on CD. (While we vigorously multi-tasked-Daniel says. Hey, it was a great way to get the cut out wall finished, the dishes done, and painting in the bedroom done. We were even motivated to get up and excercise in the mornings if we had it to listen to. We haven't gotten anything like that done since we finished and ran out of motivation.) We finished the last CD a couple of weeks ago. It was a lot of fun, and we both really enjoyed it. We would get the movies from the library after we finished each book. That was fun to get caught up on but also pretty diappointing having the book so fresh in my mind. I think I enjoy the movies a lot more when I have had more time to forget the book, so I am not so angry about all the stuff they left out and how they spent so much time glamourizing other parts (that weren't that way in the book). Just so you all know, we can now join in on your Harry Potter conversations somewhat knowledgeably.

We Finally Did It!

Book 7, the deathly hallows was my absolute favorite book. Before then, Book 4 was my favorite. I love listening to books while trying to get the housework done. It makes it less boring.

You can see how often I get on the internet. All right!!!! I'm glad you got through all the Potter's. The books are tons better than the movies - no argument there. I really love the 7th one and have listened to it over and over. Lots of listening time on the road. We are going to Yosemite for a hike tomorrow and wish there was an 8th. Hey Lise - my computer was down for a while too, it probably looks like I blogged alot since I posted 3 things on one day to catch up (ha ha). Not much happens with us, but yeah we're having fun - I'm about to post Lana's birthday party pics now (ha ha). Oh, I love Harry Potter - I was only able to read two books & loved them....listening to them would be awesome!
