Daniel and the girls spent the afternoon enjoying the village and had a great time. As Daniel tells it - it was pretty much a picture shoot the whole day and he took like 50 pictures.
We found out a few things about Thomas. At first I didn't even think that he was an actual steam train, but some kind of electric look alike; because he is so much cleaner and quieter than the other steam trains at the village. He has a very high pitched clear whistle, just like in the movies; totally different from the other trains. And as Nora helped us discover his eyes do actually move around.
The village is a great place to see Thomas, we get in to all the activites free with our membership pass. If we had wanted a ride it would have been $12 each, but the girls were O.K. with just watching him. Especially after we told them that he was pulling the same carriages that we always ride on and when you are riding you don't really get to see much of him anyways.
