Eli at One Month

I took Eli in for his one month checkup this Tuesday. He weighed 12 lbs 5 ozs (90%) and 22 1/2" long (75%). He is still a very good baby and rarely, but sometimes has fussy periods. He lets us sleep well and only wakes up once sometime between 3 and 5. He slept in his crib for the first time last night and did great. It doesn't bother me having him in our room but I think we are a little noisy for him sometimes. We actually use a monitor even though his room is right next to ours. He just doesn't make that much noise even when he does wake up. He has started smiling when we talk to him and giving us a few little coo's.

 

April 5 (3 weeks old) All dressed up for church. He was very cooperative all through conference. I think he looked so handsome in his church clothes. This was the only outfit I ended up buying for him.

 

April 9-Daniel was trying to be tricky and catch a sleepy smile, he did a pretty good job.

 

April 14-After his Dr's appointment just hanging out on the couch, being cute. Having a baby is still so much fun, but we are having a hard time adjusting. It takes so much longer to get ready to go anywhere, I think the girls are starting to get tired of waiting for me. I think the thing that needs to change the most is my expectations but that is always hard.
