Daniel tilled the garden last weekend and had a great time being "creative". The result is a "target" type of design. We worked on planting all week and got everything done, except we will have to buy some tomato plants next week. We are excited to have a garden this year and hope that we get good results and are able to battle the birds, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, and insects. The girls had a great time planting. Nora did the corn, Kyla the beans, and Myka insisted she plant the banana squash. We have been living in the backyard the past week and spending as much time there as possible. The girls have really enjoyed eating dinner outside on the patio. I am glad that we are able to seize the moment and enjoy this weather before it gets hot, humid, and the mosquitos come out.

Wow, your soil looks nice and dark. I hope you get a good crop!
That is a fantastic looking garden. I can't even imagine how you got it to look so perfect. I can't wait to see it growing when I get out there. I love you all and miss you. My slow computer won't show your videos and I am frustrated. Oh well.
Love,
Grandma Cynthia
Matt says; does Ford Motor Co. know that you are promoting Mercedes Benz in your back yard?!
